It's more of a checklist...

If I tell you I never made a Christmas Wishlist before, would you believe me? I guess not. I've always been a calculated person. I mean, I try my best not to disappoint myself in anything. Wishlists might or might not cause disappointments.

So here's my first ever wishlist. And I intend to have everything I post on this entry before school starts on January, by any means possible. But as a very appreciative person, let me tell you that donations are very much welcome :"> :))

Faded Metallic Flats from Anthology (The Ramp)

Studded Vest (preferrably the white one)

Military Jacket

Badgley Mischka's gold framed aviator glasses like what Rihanna's wearing

I'm proud to have done this - wishlist. I mean, coming up with only these things somehow made it different from others. The difference I'm talking about is that, mine is realistic. Wait for my future entries wherein these items would be shown again. Only, I'll be the one wearing them already ;)

It's Monotonous. It's Uneventful.

I'm waiting for something that can make everything back to its lively state. You see, there's nothing new.

Advance Merry Christmas!

18 December 2009

I wasn't able to take my exams last 17 December. Instead of going to school, I went with my family to Caleruega where we attended a relative's wedding. I loved the effect of sunset on almost everything! The chapel was in Caleruega and the reception was in Taal Vista.

Nike Gladiators

Imagine having the gladiators sandals almost everyone has in a brand such as Nike. Would that make the glads more appealing? Or would it make glads appear to be another sneakers instead?

There's nothing else beyond what you're being shown. Stop complicating things. I mean, quit fussing around, thinking analytically what's been running in the person's mind. Sometimes, what the person say might be the truth, no matter how unbelievable that may sound. Don't over-analyze things. The person knows what she's doing and what she's capable of. So please, don't give any special interpretations to what she's blabbing about. Blabbing, being the operative word.

The poster pretty much explains what this entry would be about. I am dead excited to see the second installment of Sex and the City! (Hello Jana Medel! 'Hello future' ;) )

Second Best

So much for the title...

Why does my best seem to be not enough? Sounds like a cliche but it's not. For consecutive events now, all I get out of the effort I didn't fail to exert, was what was deserved of the second best. I mean, I exerted extra effort (compared to what I did in my Junior year :D) to make whatever event I belong into produce something worthwhile and yet I get nothing out of it - if disappointments and the like don't count. :))

We didn't bag the grand prize in the Play Prod. But still, we could use even just a pinch of appreciation you know :-":)) I'm no hypocrite to say that that didn't bother me okay? HAHA. Enough of my sarcasm =)) Finally, I'd like to commend Cha Valeriano for doing an excellent job in Micheau's production, her class being the recipient of the best play prod award.

My house had already become a big kennel for Stefania. She's named after the reigning Ms. Universe (2009): Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela. Her name perfectly suits her, doesn't it? A cute name for a cute pet :P

I was feeding her biscuits :))

Sudden Date

It wasn't included in my plans to take the USTET. But then plans change, right? Especially when the cause of change is someone you couldn't say No to :) Right after taking USTET, I went to greenhills with the Medel family. I've always felt at ease whenever I'm with them. And after a very long time of having no serious talk with Jana, we finally had the chance to update each other's present states.

"Forever is just an expression"
- Angeline Nobleza

Jana and I share the same opinion on forever: it doesn't exist. We had this promise to each other though - everyone else may become 'non-forever' but our friendship will be forever :>

The Poster

Just what exactly does it take someone to finally accept defeat? Fast paced. For the nth time, I found myself aloof and detached from what's happening around.
Quote above doesn't have anything to do with this entry. It just sort of stuck in my head :)) Our Play Prod has been occupying most of the time I reserved for myself every weekend for the past week. Somehow, I'm starting to feel the weight of it all, heavy loaded and more. Not that I have any right to complain considering that for the first time in my entire life in HS, I didn't play any important or vital part in our class production. :)) So yeah, I'm starting to become a bore I know =))

Here's our draft of Paranoia's Poster:
I tried editing. It's nothing compared to Micheau's edits though (Claps to Cha Valeriano)

So Third Year

26 November 2009

Everywhere I looked, there's always something to remind me of third year ;) Came dismissal time, I finally gave in to my longing. Jana Medel, Tini Verzosa and Vary Jonson went with me to Teriyaki Boy in Tomas where we had some catching up. I really really miss my junior year.

Jana and Tini :>
Vary :)

Finally, the rushed yet well-thought of play of our section had its title: Paranoia. I instantly liked the plot of the story since it's not something common. It encourages anyone who read the script to widen their imagination and learn how to play with it. Talk about critical reading. So anyway. We all met up in Whiteplains where we had our first practice. I arrived late because of... :"> =))

Just plain thoughtful gift from a very caring friend :) Thanks Janica!

We Survived

Our batch had our 2-day-1-night camping last 20-21 November. The moment we laid eyes on our campsite, we shared the same opinion: it didn't feel like we'll be roughing it out. The venue was in St. Paul San Miguel. So yeah, camping inside a school. Blah. But every opinion changed when the activities were on progress. The sun was burning too hot, we didn't actually anticipate that the temperature there would be that high. Tent perching, magnifying glass, lighthouse, capture the flag, cooking, interaction with St. Paul San Miguel students, bonfire, cooking for breakfast, buying in the market, chicken killing, fish cleaning, cooking for lunch, cleaning up, mass.

I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh

I've been doing a lot of thinking these past few days. Certain thoughts can't easily be set aside, I realize. It takes a single train of thought to put my system into its chaotic state once again. But not to worry for I'm steadying my defense for quite sometime too. I had already anticipated this thing coming. I considered all possible reactions I may have once everything took place. I made myself as prepared as a soldier can be, ready to battle against anything. Impetuous as it may sound though, I wasn't able to anticipate the contrasting feeling that I may have felt if the opposite of what I was expecting would have come instead. I didn't even perceive this option was possible, considering where my emotional state was prior to this event. Surprise surprise. I was stunned at how things resulted into. Since when did my seemingly unending problem fix itself on its own? I mean, I was taken aback by how the once complicated problem I used to have for a long time suddenly flashed before my very eyes, presenting itself to be a thing in the past now. Time really heals. And I love the feeling of being freed from all the agonizing conditions I put myself under.

... But I never knew the laughs would make me cry.

The Making

Last 19 October, our class (Anne De Tilly) had our grad pics taken. Everyone of us had our hair and make up done by the stylists. Lucky for some, they were made over by a good stylist. Anyway. There were some who caught my attention after seeing their transformation. I mean, I didn't know they were capable of looking that good :P :)) [sorry for the comment] As for my look, I didn't like any single bit of what they put on me. And being someone who couldn't just let something pass by without me pinpointing what didn't please me, I changed my make up. I rubbed off some, and I added some. Let's put my ranting aside now. I made my own photoshoot wherein I took my classmates' 1x1 pics. Hahaha. Here are the samples of their 1x1s.

I did some editing of course

And here's my 1x1: =)))))

Vary's Post Birthday

It's the start of our week-long sembreak. Tomorrow's the birthday of Vary Jonson. She visited me here in my place. We had Pizza Hut for our early dinner. Vary is one of the those friends I have whom I always have fun with. We had her post birthday celebration. I'm excited for her actual celebration :)) Bring it on, Vary Jonson!

After Shock

I don't accept losing easily especially if I did my best. After hearing the questionable result of the Cheerdancing competition 2009, I got so emotional. Enough of my bitterness. After the last day of Intrams, almost everyone in our batch had somewhere to go to. Some were to go to Katipunan and some were to go to Commonwealth, as originally planned. As for me, I wanted to go nowhere but home. My friends didn't let me since they know how bad I felt. I agreed with their plans of cheering me up. Jerone, Jeanne, Jana, Angelica, Ver and I went to Fun Ranch :)) It's fun going to a place where kids rule. We were able to act as freely as any kid can. We had our dinner in Tiendesitas. My bad mood was erased, all thanks to the effort of my friends to cheer me up.
