Every now and then, everyone deserves a friday

 Eversince, I've looked forward to my fridays because I know that another week has ended and that weekends are taking over. But college life did some changes. Fridays are not anymore just the end of the week, but the beginning of my weekends. 

Karen Soledad invited me over at her place, suggesting that we practice our swimming skills (or the lack thereof) to spend our time productively since we both do not have classes on fridays. I had swimming classes back in High School but I never learned how to. I wish I took those classes seriously though, or better yet, I wish I attended those classes and didn't give in to the monster called laziness.

My spirits was still in its highest stage. I wasn't satisfied with the minimal pictures of myself that day. Consequently, I took lots and lots of photos of myself.

My first term is OVER! Goodbye to all those stressful subjects, for now. I have one week to recharge before I enter the 2nd round (read: 2nd term). I don't particularly have any plans on how I'll spend my heaven week so any invitations whatsoever, as long as it is on a weekday, will be highly considered. It's time for catching up with everything that I have unintentionally disregarded. So friends, fire away! :)

4th year Session

Upon seeing these photos, I couldn't help but laugh about all the crazy stuffs I pulled off when I was in 4th year. 

Instead of attending class, we went to the guidance office where we played Scrabble, using our self-made rules. Barbs and S have always made me laugh!

Philippine Election

May 10, 2010 

It wasn't just the Philippine Election for us, it was also my brother's 19th birthday. Kuya can't vote yet because he isn't registered. Blame his laziness! His month-long birthday celebration began today. (That's how we usually celebrate birthdays, whole month!) We had late lunch in Josephine's in Tagaytay. The Peraltas were with us. Daddy's siblings were all present too.

Graduation Celebration

My parents wouldn't let my graduation pass without a celebration. So mommy, with my suggestions of course, planned the dinner cruise. I wanted to invite almost all my batchmates. It just so happened that the cruise coincided with the batch party - Elusive. That's why I didn't bother asking all my friends if they would like to be with me onboard. I just asked Tribo plus Jeanne Dela Rosa, Maan Marqueda and Arisa Watanabe. The dinner cruise went so well, with the band serenading us and the photography club that took pictures of us beautifully.

4. Being a bus rider

I've been used to hearing my bus Manong shout every dismissal time. I guess I'm Manong Jeff's favorite pasahero :> HAHA I would miss how my friends always tried to hide me from him whenever he went searching for me every dismissal time. He's the best Manong driver!!

I've been part of the Cheering Squad of the batch since first year. I've given almost all my effort and time just to pull off a performance worthy of being called the Champion every year. From 2nd year to 4th year, I was called and referred to as the Batch Cheerleader :">

Change of Heart

I'm making up for all the wrong things I've done to my teachers. To start with, I attended my practice awhile ago. Had I a choice, I doubt that showing up would even cross my mind. I was really in need of extra grade for my conduct. HAHAHA. But anyway. I showed up. I had the determination to pursue on the practice because Karen was with me.

 

The Day When I Got Older...

It all started with this:

Verlyn Guiyab and Arisa Watanabe are very kind enough to inform everyone else that I'll be having a celebration. Thing is, I didn't plan to have one :))

 As I stepped in school last 7 January, I was confronted with this very confusing question: 

"Saan ang party, Gellie?"

"Party nino?"

"Party mo!"

 And then I realized, they were really asking where my Blowout Celebration would take place =)) I finally decided to make the fake invitation Ver and Arisa did a real one. Thus, Saturday Night Impromptu Party was born!

I missed Charlene Dacara very very much!

Christmas 2009

It's been in the tradition of the Peralta family to spend the Christmas together. The recently concluded Christmas wasn't any different. We all gathered in our lola's house in Alabang, creating brain-cracking noise heard all over the neighborhood. I guess that's something we can't really lessen (the noise). We stayed in Alabang from the eve of Christmas until the 27th of December. Imagine how we weren't able to destroy my lola's house despite the crazy antics each of us pulled off :)) We went out almost everyday, as a complete family. Whenever I'll have the chance to be alone and stay home, I did nothing but read and read and read. I finished reading the Twilight Series in roughly 6 days. 'twas quite an accomplishment for me. Hahaha.
