The Last Day of Summer

A few posts ago, I was just talking about how excited I was to see the grown up episode of Phineas and Ferb. Then days ago, what I saw poked my eyes to the point that I couldn't stop "sweating through my eyes". My best friend and I haven't even worn our Phineas and Ferb costumes! (I know what we're going to wear this Halloween, S!)

I brought my cousin to the mall weekends ago to put a cap on her first week in the big school.

 

My best friend and I love Phineas and Ferb so much so that we have considered naming our to-be-launched shop "Baljeetles". If we won't be able to come up with a more decent, catchy name, then I'm calling dibs on "Baljeet" as early as now.

Ladies Who Do No Wrong: Jane Aldridge

I was in HS when I came across fashion blogs while searching for mood inspirations. Since then, I've believed more in their creative power than in celebrities'. And normally, the bloggers whom I tend to heavily obsess on have styles that are leaning on the chimerical side rather than relatable. I have fondness for others whose style I can only aspire for; actual imitation is completely asymptotic. What's the point of looking up to someone else when you can easily emulate her style? Also, I admire them because they push all fashion boundaries and seem to be non-apologetic for it.

Whether it's because of her porcelain skin, tall frame, annoyingly always gorgeous red locks, excessive accessorizing, editorial-worthy photographs, well-decorated apartment, and her 'sea of shoes' (both blog itself and words' literal meaning), there's just something about Jane Aldridge that I'll always adore.

My Birthday Celebration

High School never ends! It never did, and it never will.

I organized an overnight party where I invited my favorite people from HS. It was soooo fun reliving our crazy "habits" and introducing new ones. I guess that's what makes reunions memorable - the fact that even after months have passed, it feels as though there hasn't been any distance.

Breaking Bad

Here's what I wore to school last Tuesday, of course sans the heels and the sunnies.


This is in honor of my favorite show that had got me hooked since day 1 - Breaking Bad. Let it be said that I am not a fan of TV series. But as always, there is an exception. I've religiously followed the drug-wonder, pun intended, Breaking Bad. It's something that I can highly recommend to those who are like me, those who are not well-acquainted with TV shows. There are a lot of them that have piqued my interest, namely Homeland, Game of Thrones, House, The Firm, Girls, Carrie Diaries, Revenge, The Hamster Wheel, to name a few, but despite my curiosity, I can't find the time to wait for them to be downloaded and the patience to finish season after season. I'd rather watch movies incessantly or read materials that are fascinating.

If there's anything that I'd castigate myself about, it's that I never learn. I keep on repeating the same mistakes over and over. I mean, is it really so bad that I give almost everyone a second chance? That I still keep my hopes up with things that have let me down before already? It's always been a cycle. One thing promises, I hope. It fails, I fall apart. Everything gets stagnant for a while. And then here it comes, promising once again. I start to hope once again. But just like clockwork, it disappoints in the end.

I Can't Be Tamed

I'm currently having the so-called LSS with Miley Cyrus' latest song: Can't Be Tamed. I was so amazed with her video. Her Hannah Montana role is a far cry from what she projected in the music video. She looks so grown up in the latter!

What To Do

Unlike my previous summers, I opted not to join any summer dance workshop this time. I didn't want any complications when matters regarding my soon-to-be college surface. Because of this, I had more time for my reading and other stuffs which I can't do if I was busy keeping up with my workshops. I was out every weekends, going to different places all over the Philippines. So, what have kept me busy during the weekdays? Aside from my thrice a week badminton playing, I do this:

I got so addicted in playing this online game! The basics here are somewhat like that of Sims City.

What was with this summer that had made me want to feel so Lord-like? =)) I like playing games wherein my citizens refer to me as their god. How's that? HAHAHA
