The Price League
Have no fear, you have in your midst the strongest, the friendliest, the mightiest, the cutest, and the weirdest super heroes that are here to save the day for you against the big-head blue villain whose call in life is to wreak havoc in the entire universe. I present to you, the Price League!!! Ten-ten-tenen... The president of Marketville handpicked the best superheroes from different worlds to prevent a chaos so big that it could blow the world up. He chose Storm, Wonder Woman, Cyclops, and the Fairy Godmother to stop the deviant plans of Megamind. Take a glimpse on the colorful lives of our characters:
The story went something like this. Megamind stole the button that can blow the world up. To stop him from his evil plans, the president formed a task force comprising of the world's best superheroes. They tried to identify what caused their villain's dark character. So they dug up his past. As a child, Megamind had been deprived of the one thing he craved for the most - love. His parents were so busy with their work that they've slowly shut him out. It was in this sad time that he met the creature of his dreams, so to speak. He met Avatar, the girl from the outer space. They had some good times together but eventually, Avatar left him. He was so devastated that he channeled all his energy to carry out his destructive plan. Then entered the super heroes...
Here's our Avatar trying out my gigantic wings. Thanks to my good friend Cha Valeriano for going with me to Divisoria to have this pair of wings and the gowns I used for this project made.
Oh my! This was the last time I wore bottom above knees. Come to think of it, this was the day my dad told me he'd never let me go to school wearing shorts. Conservative siya eh Hahahaha
Sorry for the amateur video. What would you expect, it was shot and edited by the same persons who starred in it. Plus, they only had two straight days to shoot. Besides I shared them just to let you see how gutsy we were. Imagine shooting in school under the scrutinizing gazes of other students. Wala nang hiya hiya. Para sa grades to :)

Thank you so much to Rafael "Megamind" Ocampo for sending me the pics and videos. Seeing what we guys worked so hard for some 9 months ago definitely made my day :)

Pause For a While
Have a meaningful Holy Week, friends! :)
I'll be spending mine in the province. By the time I'm back, I promise I'll have everything in my comments box sorted. But do know that I've read all of them already and I am beyond pleased at all the kind words. Please bear with my immediate hiatus for the mean time. Thank you.

Thank God, He Graduated!
My parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives, friends and I are so proud of my baby gorilla brother. He surprised everyone days before his actual graduation saying, "Okay, mom. We have a reason to celebrate. Pinasa ako ng teachers ko. Gagraduate daw ako!" woohoo! Months before, he instructed mom not to give anyone in our close-knit clan false hopes regarding his graduation. He said he didn't want to jinx his possibility of graduating. I like that brother of mine, very open minded. Haha! So when the good news hit everyone, mom planned a celebratory party right after the ceremony. Syempre baby boy niya yata yung nag graduate. I was supposed to be in school since I have classes from 6 - 9pm but I didn't attend anymore. Gio attended my graduation two years ago. It's just fair that I ditch everything else and attend his as well :)

My Way or the High Way
Over the weekend, I was really determined to sweet talk everyone at home to go with me on a joyride. No destination in particular. I just want to be in a ride full of my beloved uncles, aunts and family. Why oh why? Cause it's almost summer and I have to let them feel my presence, so that should they have some fantastic vacations, they won't forget that little old silly me exists. Haha! I put on this loose black top which is reminiscent of Isabel Marant's Fall 2012 RTW button downs. Or so I think. I wore jeans for my bottom. Jeans na naman?! Jeans in school, jeans outside school too? Don't shoot me, it's just that I've to wear something that can cover up some bruises on my left leg, reminiscent of all my falling down. Hahaha. I'm trying to be witty here. Or so I think. If you by any chance thought that I'd reconsider wearing heels just because of those two tumbles, then you better stop that thought. Nothing will ever beat my cause to be taller!
Then I went over to where the red car was parked. Which background car looked more appropriate?
Yay! I finally got to say Anne Curtis' "lipstick lang ang labanan!" Hahaha. I'm not a fan of lipstick so putting on a shade as red as this is considered bravery in my book. This actually belongs to my 76 year-old grandma. Rume-red lipstick pa si lola! Estee Lauder pa ha.

Dream Summer Destinations
Others have already escaped their school bullshits, pardon the term, and are now spending their precious time in glorious places while others are still stuck in school, either running after their teachers to have their clearance paper signed or preparing for their coming finals. I belong in the last category. I'm still stuck in school, besting my laziness out but somehow it still gets the best of me which results to continuous tardiness. Aside from trying not to be late and summoning my studious will to meet all the requirements of my subjects, I daydream. I know it's summer cause I keep on falling in and out of dreamland.
Dreamland 3: Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa in Bohol
Dreamland 2: Bellarocca Island Resort & Spa in Marinduque
Dreamland 1: Amanpulo Resort in Palawan
Please please please, let me win the lottery!!! The only way for me to reach these luxurious resorts is if I win the lottery. Or if I save my daily allowance for 500 days! Grabe bakit presyong ginto!!! :( Why do I have the feeling that even after college, these resorts would still be just part of my dreams? To add some more salt to the wound, I just found out an additional dream. That is, to someday write about my experience in these places!!! Hmm. Going to luxury beaches - More Fun In the Philippines. Haha!
