Baby Bro Loves ME

I can feel it deep down in my veins. I know my baby brother really cares for me.

HAHAHAHAHA. Gio would throw a fit once he sees this post, I reckon. Oh well, he accompanied me in doing some pants-hunting last saturday so if that's not sweetness, I don't know what is.

Have you seen the music video of Katy Perry's Last Friday Night? You must! It was so funny.

I've only known that Katy Perry has already released a video of this song because of a fellow Filipina blogger. Check out her lovely blog: paragonofchic.blogspot.com :)

"I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying." - Oscar Wilde

It's only 9:30 am and yet I'm already up. Normally, if there are no classes, I would never, ever, leave the bed earlier than 10am. I was supposed to be in school today from 9 - 11am to take an exam. Since I do not want to be late, I woke up at 6am. Then around 7, my friend Hannah sent me a message saying that she's already in school and that the exam was moved on the 29th. Great. Now I'm wide awake and can't anymore go back to sleep. Goodness, what a waste.

Oh! My friends who've seen me only lately noticed that I gained some weight. Do you think so too?

My Fashion Icon

She's more than just a model. And she's definitely more than just a doll. She also has the largest wardrobe compared to all other fashion icons, even bigger than that of Claudia Schiffer's. In case you haven't heard, the German Supermodel has converted a hangar into her personal wardrobe thus making her the current titleholder of the person who has the world's biggest wardrobe. What a very glamorous (and enviable) fashionista!

Going back to what this post is all about. So, here goes my very first fashion icon:

There are so much more reasons for me to look up to her. Everyone who's anyone has been dressing her up. Click here if you want to see the intricate patterns and details on each of her outfit.

Guess who became Christian Louboutin's muse

Isn't she such a dreamboat?

And oh! In case you're wondering if I'm neglecting my weekly post on what I wore the previous weekend, well you ought to know that I'm not. I'm going to post what I wore last saturday this coming thursday so please wait for it :)

Friday = Movie Date

Let me just make a very very quick post about what I did last friday.

Photobucket

Together with Hannah and Patrick, I watched Insidious. It's been so long since I last had a good shout inside the cinema. I'm a scaredy cat but I love watching horror films. I love to scream and cover my face with something while trying to get a peek of what's happening in the screen too. So anyhoo, here's my quick review of the movie. (Disclaimer: I am not a professional movie critic. I'm just stating my opinions as an audience). It was good, but it wasn't great. Yes there were scary parts but they weren't enough to cause me nightmares. The beginning up to the middle was really hair-raising but towards the end, it became boring already. All in all, it was worth the money we've paid, but it wasn't worth watching over again.

Another thing, if you guys are curious whether I'm still sticking to my food diet or have already succumbed to the powerful temptation coming from meat, well, I'm still for all those green stuff. BUT due to unplanned circumstances, I've eaten meat thrice. First was when I ate the Mac and Cheese from a restaurant across school. It contained some pork (yes, the most loathsome of them all) and I didn't even hesitate swallowing them. Second was when I feasted on Nachos. I forgot to tell the waiter to not add ground beef anymore so  I ended up eating my nachos with all the cheese, salsa and ground beef. And lastly, I had a bite from Hannah's hotdog sub. I was just too hungry and it was the only available food. Must. Not. Eat. Meat!!!

P.S. Lina, I'm sorry. You can't expect me to wait for you for more than an hour, can you? Please try to understand. And I'm going to make it up to you :>

I'm Just So Sad

Dear Friends, earlier this afternoon I rode the LRT station from Vito Cruz to D. Jose then transferred to another LRT line, from Recto to Pureza station where I was usually fetched from. Awhile ago, when I reached Pureza, something caught my attention - the front pocket of my bag was open. And all its contents were gone.

Gone are my:

1. phone (I'm temporarily using my Sun while I try to negotiate with my parents to buy me a similar, if not better, model)

Photobucket

2. favorite powder of all time: (I have it with me everyday, that's how important it is to me)

Photobucket
3. oil control films (Not so important. But still, why did the snatcher get it?)

Photobucket

The good part though was, my wallet was intact since it was in the deep recesses of my books and other paraphernalia. Now I'm sure that I would be more careful with my belongings.

Sunday's Best

Finally, I was able to update!!! It took me this long because sometime last week, our server crashed. I'm so sorry for keeping you guys outdated. There are so many things - pictures, realizations, stories, encounters - that I'd want to share with you but I can't seem to get the perfect timing as to when to post them. Bummer. On to today's post. Last sunday, I attended a very intimate and casual birthday party of one of my lola's cousins. Here's the twist: since it's an intimate for-get-together-lang-tlaga birthday, it was held at the celebrant's place. Everyone was asked to dress casually. Even pambahays were allowed.

When my brothers saw me in heels, one of my highest at that, they started reminding me that the party was calling for a casual vibe. My cousin Alissa, who was just listening to our debate, couldn't help but laugh. In the end, my brothers changed into more suited polo tops just to match with me. How sweet. As for Alissa, well, I asked her to change as well. Remember this and never forget it: "It's always better to overdress than to underwhelm".

With Alissa. In our family, she and I have always been distinguished as the 'tall' and the 'cute' one.

Finished the night with a cup of coffee from Figaro in Tomas Morato. Told you I'm developing a fixation on coffees now, much to my dismay.

A Queen with No Crown

From Saturday

From Saturday
School has just started last week and so far, I can say that I'm enjoying it. My first two days were very very good, if not for the sudden expulsion of drinks... The good mood went on until Saturday's lunch date with my family thus I wore red. As I've said in one of my posts, I wear red when I'm feeling so good or so down.

We had our lunch in Yakimix Macapagal. I feasted on Japanese food, a favorite of mine! I remember telling my mom before that I could live forever just eating different sushis and other Japanese food. Really really delicious.

The title's from Lady Gaga's Judas. It should have been 'King with No Crown'.

P.S. Thank you to my very wonderful friends for keeping me company here in blogger. I didn't know that it was possible to follow me using twitter accounts until I saw some additional 'Followers' on my Dashboard. It was so sweet! If you don't have a blogger account, you may use your twitter accounts to keep me company here. Also, thank you to my fellow bloggers (though I would prefer to call you guys friends) for the sweet comments and following me. I appreciate all the love so very much :)

Pay Off

Do you know why I was never a fan of domino, or why I never liked playing it? It's because I always feel uneasy whenever I think of its implication - the domino effect or simply the thought of seeing changes brought by something you have intentionally, or unintentionally, done. Thing is, most of the time, it's unintentional. Once you see each block falls one after another, you can't do anything to stop them from falling completely. All you'll be left with is the mess.

Photobucket

The consequences of my actions for the past year are catching up with me; in fact I wouldn't be so surprised if I'll find them ahead of me already. Everyone talked to me. Everyone told me what I must do, what I must not, and what I must think about. After giving each of their words consideration, I found a new reason to continue where I left off, the very same reason that I can hold onto just to secure the straps that can fasten my resolve to make all the wrong things right once again. I wish not to let go of this reason. But then something happened. No one has told me that there will be sacrifices. Worse, that I cannot choose which I’d like to stay and which, though not easy, I would have to let go. It pains me knowing that in order to erase the errors I have put myself into, I would have to sacrifice the persons who mean so much to me.

P.S.
P.S. I would like to apologize to Jerone Malangen for not having been able to attend your 18th birthday celebration. You know I would have left whatever that I had to do then just to be on your party. I’m really really sorry! Please naman, wag naman na magtampo :(

And to Jeanne dela Rosa, alam mo namang favorite person talaga kita eh. Wag ka na din magtampo please?

To our kind friends who, because of some sweet reasons have read this, please pass my messages to them.
