Santa's Little Helper

Take it from the title. I'm a helper, and I'm little. Hahaha. Mom allowed me to help in the wrapping of the gifts even if I do not know how to actually do it. I was so insistent in helping cause I read from somewhere that even the effort you exerted in wrapping the gift is still part of the entire present.

Holiday Greetings from Ricky, Dindin, Gian, Gellie and Gio
all the gifts that we are to give this Christmas are wrapped in our personalized gift wrappers

8 days to go 'til Christmas!

P.S. I wish my parents will allow me to do my Christmas shopping at midnight. The traffic inside and outside the malls is trying my patience. Good thing new acquisitions make me smile. And of course, the bigger it gets, the better it becomes. Hahaha.

I can't believe that I'm really old!

It felt so good after seeing pictures of my little cousin in her baptismal gown. If you could remember how I patiently helped in decorating her gown, I guess you might want to see how it actually looked on Alex.

Baby Alex and her dad, my Tito Jun
And as her dad says, she was the prettiest baby girl who got baptized that day

On a similar note, let me also take this opportunity to greet her and my other 2 little first cousins a happy holiday.

Caoume and Elijah

I can't wait to see them on summer!

I step into the spotlight again

I waited until 6:30PM just to see how La Salle looks like at night. And once again, I got blinded by the spotlight.

We were experimenting on my camera. That explains the blurry pictures.
Thanks guys for waiting patiently with me :>

When it seems the magic slipped away, we find it all again on Christmas Day.

The Christmas season is definitely in the air already. I can see it come alive every night, whenever I pass along houses and places which are heavily-adorned with Christmas decorations and lights. I can hear it, whenever I put on my headphones and turn on my laptop. And I can feel it, whenever I sit in front of the TV, holding my mug of hot chocolate, and enjoying the DVDS of my favorite Christmas-themed movies. Indeed, my favorite season of the year has already arrived.

If I would to recommend one movie which truly encapsulates what Christmas for me is, it will certainly be The Polar Express. Ever since it has been released in 2004, I have never failed to watch it year after year. Watch it, it will boost your Christmas spirits ;)

Here's a song from the movie which I hope will express my Christmas greetings to everyone who finds time to be here in my blog :>

Thank you to all those who have let me take
pictures of your fancy Christmas decors!

To hell with you and your alibis

Okay, so I think my title is a little bit too much. But then, that's what I'll be writing down today: the concept of too much. Yesterday, I had some serious talk with my friend Janica while waiting for the right time to start prettifying ourselves and be Loulai's-party-ready. Since friday evening, her status changed from Into Relationship to being Single. As to the reason of their break up, I do not think I have the right to divulge it. As to the person who is now her ex, well, good riddance! I just wish Janica will forever be in her right state of mind that she may never reconsider getting back with you :>

What I wore (Loulai's 18th)

While my hair was still on progress
Even after hours of partying, my make up was still intact
My friends complimented the cut and the design of my gown. All thanks to the genius behind this :)

Thanks to Basement Salon, which is situated just across Shangri-La Mall, for my hair and make up. They have the friendliest staff I've ever met.

And thanks to Ju-one of the House of Laurel for making my gown as pretty as I hoped it would be despite my very demanding requests. Hihihi. Until my next splurge ;)

More like the Phantom of the Opera

I've developed a certain admiration for some of the operas and broadway presentations eversince I had an original copy of Wicked. From then on, I made it a point that I'll get to watch as many broadways as possible, may it be in DVD copy or hopefully, in broadway itself. Anyway, going back to what this blog is really about...

I attended Lourraine Hernandez' 18th birthday just a couple of hours ago in Wack wack Country Club. And as expected, her debut turned into another big reunion party of our batch. I jumped from one table to another, greeting and exchanging stories with the people who have never failed to make me feel that I'm in my comfort zone again.

Thank you, Loulai! For throwing another party and for making it possible for me, Karen and Barbs to be part of your 18 Treasures :)
