Paranoia

Finally, the rushed yet well-thought of play of our section had its title: Paranoia. I instantly liked the plot of the story since it's not something common. It encourages anyone who read the script to widen their imagination and learn how to play with it. Talk about critical reading. So anyway. We all met up in Whiteplains where we had our first practice. I arrived late because of... :"> =))

We Survived

Our batch had our 2-day-1-night camping last 20-21 November. The moment we laid eyes on our campsite, we shared the same opinion: it didn't feel like we'll be roughing it out. The venue was in St. Paul San Miguel. So yeah, camping inside a school. Blah. But every opinion changed when the activities were on progress. The sun was burning too hot, we didn't actually anticipate that the temperature there would be that high. Tent perching, magnifying glass, lighthouse, capture the flag, cooking, interaction with St. Paul San Miguel students, bonfire, cooking for breakfast, buying in the market, chicken killing, fish cleaning, cooking for lunch, cleaning up, mass.

I always knew looking back on the tears would make me laugh

I've been doing a lot of thinking these past few days. Certain thoughts can't easily be set aside, I realize. It takes a single train of thought to put my system into its chaotic state once again. But not to worry for I'm steadying my defense for quite sometime too. I had already anticipated this thing coming. I considered all possible reactions I may have once everything took place. I made myself as prepared as a soldier can be, ready to battle against anything. Impetuous as it may sound though, I wasn't able to anticipate the contrasting feeling that I may have felt if the opposite of what I was expecting would have come instead. I didn't even perceive this option was possible, considering where my emotional state was prior to this event. Surprise surprise. I was stunned at how things resulted into. Since when did my seemingly unending problem fix itself on its own? I mean, I was taken aback by how the once complicated problem I used to have for a long time suddenly flashed before my very eyes, presenting itself to be a thing in the past now. Time really heals. And I love the feeling of being freed from all the agonizing conditions I put myself under.

... But I never knew the laughs would make me cry.

The Making

Last 19 October, our class (Anne De Tilly) had our grad pics taken. Everyone of us had our hair and make up done by the stylists. Lucky for some, they were made over by a good stylist. Anyway. There were some who caught my attention after seeing their transformation. I mean, I didn't know they were capable of looking that good :P :)) [sorry for the comment] As for my look, I didn't like any single bit of what they put on me. And being someone who couldn't just let something pass by without me pinpointing what didn't please me, I changed my make up. I rubbed off some, and I added some. Let's put my ranting aside now. I made my own photoshoot wherein I took my classmates' 1x1 pics. Hahaha. Here are the samples of their 1x1s.

I did some editing of course

And here's my 1x1: =)))))

Vary's Post Birthday

It's the start of our week-long sembreak. Tomorrow's the birthday of Vary Jonson. She visited me here in my place. We had Pizza Hut for our early dinner. Vary is one of the those friends I have whom I always have fun with. We had her post birthday celebration. I'm excited for her actual celebration :)) Bring it on, Vary Jonson!

After Shock

I don't accept losing easily especially if I did my best. After hearing the questionable result of the Cheerdancing competition 2009, I got so emotional. Enough of my bitterness. After the last day of Intrams, almost everyone in our batch had somewhere to go to. Some were to go to Katipunan and some were to go to Commonwealth, as originally planned. As for me, I wanted to go nowhere but home. My friends didn't let me since they know how bad I felt. I agreed with their plans of cheering me up. Jerone, Jeanne, Jana, Angelica, Ver and I went to Fun Ranch :)) It's fun going to a place where kids rule. We were able to act as freely as any kid can. We had our dinner in Tiendesitas. My bad mood was erased, all thanks to the effort of my friends to cheer me up.

One Last Fight

My last Intramurals in HS took place last 27 - 29 of October. As the batch cheerleader, I prepared most for the Cheerdancing Competition. We finished doing our routine the night before the actual competition. There were lots of accidents which transpired while our routine was on progress. 3 of my dancers got injured because of doing the stunts wrongly and 3 of my dancers quit. What was I supposed to do to get all of the things right? The Cheerdancing preparation took my patience away. I was so stressed. I almost gave up, I have to admit. Setting the cheering competition aside, the other events went well. We, seniors, bagged the gold in almost all the events including Volleyball, Obstacle Run, Tug, Badminton, Table Tennis, and some more minor events. We won in almost everything except in the Cheerdancing Competition. I WAS, AM, AND WILL BE BITTER ABOUT IT. I'd never accept the result for the simplest reason that we weren't informed that there was only one criterion: DISCIPLINE. Go figure what I'm trying to say. Those who watched the actual competition probably know what I'm trying to say here.

Anyway, as what my batchmates told me, We still are the best. We made things happen. We made history.
