The Champ

A wise man once said, "Love whatever feeds you". The day before the Pacquiao-Bradley fight, I was with my dad the entire day helping him, or rather slowing his work down, do last minute touches in some malls where the live streaming of the fight would be shown. My dad has been contracted to provide signal in more than 60 malls all over Luzon. Pacquiao fights are one of his numerous projects so the more Pacquiao fight there is, the better it is for my dad. Haha! In my first time to assist him, he brought me to the control room of the cinemas in SM Canlubang. If only I was allowed to take pictures of the room, it'll be easier to describe how awesome things work up there. A piece of advice my friends, never do anything 'unusual' or 'inappropriate' when watching movies. Trust me, everything you do, absolutely everything, is seen from above. I was up there in the control room. I saw how the movies are translated to the huge screen. When I got bored from getting amazed by the technology, I sneaked into the holes to see the movie on the big screen and observe at what the viewers were doing. It was quite funny seeing everything from a bird's eyeview. Let me say this again, don't do anything stupid in the cinemas else you'll just provide free show for whoever is manning the control room ;)

Another perk of my dad's work is that, we had free installation of the fight in our house. Imagine seeing huge satellite in your backyard, that's how it was for me. 'twas really cool. The only thing uncool about the Champ's recent fight was, he lost. For some unexplainable and unacceptable reason, he lost. He frigging lost!

The dish outside our house was about 4 feet. Imagine my surprise and our neighbors' shock. Haha!

Months before the fight, dad wanted to show his support to the Champ by buying his limited edition Manny Pacquiao Nike shoes. Syempre todo suporta na. Win or lose, we're in Team Pacquiao!!! Go knock your opponent out the next time, Pacman!
