Sometimes when I wake up, I feel like the world's too big for me. So big that it could swallow me whole, along with my thoughts and dreams.

It Marks the Start

It was the  first day of my 5th term in college yesterday and though I promised myself not to wear heels in school anymore, unless special occasions would call for it, I ended up wearing heels. Why? Because I was supposed to meet with my future business partner. Yup, business as in money business. It's just that, at the last minute, I got held up in Taft because I ran an errand for my younger brother. He's going to be in college by next year. I'm helping him sort out all the requirements asked of the universities in Taft. 

Heels + bottom shot = Instant height! :D

I was browsing some Multiply sites because I needed ideas on a project that I'm currently working on. I'll let you guys in on the details once everything is final. So anyway, as I was browsing, I came across this site and a little click here and there, I saw my friend Lina's pre - debut photoshoot. 

You'll never see an ice cream vendor as chic as her ;)

Barefooted

I've just returned in Manila after a few days stay in Quezon province where we held my grandfather's wake and burial. In between helping serve the food and drinks to those who mourned with the family, I went to the big grassy area right in front of our house to just think and talk. My stay in the province opened my eyes to what really happened, is happening and about to happen in the family. It turned out, there are a whole lot of things that were kept secret and are now being uncovered.

Orange Punch

Orange is the color of the brave souls. Not everyone likes this color, not even everyone can tolerate seeing it. I, a believer of the good side of all things, find joy in trying out this color.

I visited one of my favorite stores of all time, Bobon By Puey Quinones. I chanced upon this 3 - layered umbrella and I knew I had to take a picture with it.

P.S. See you all on tuesday! I'll be very busy this coming sunday and monday for the necessary processing of paper works for my grandfather, Felix Lleva Valle Sr., who has just passed away recently. Thank you everyone for all the comments that came pouring in for the past 5 days :)

Train of Thought Series Part 5

When I saw this picture on facebook, I started laughing. Like what the comments said, this was taken by the owner of Hacienda Escudero himself, the resort where we were staying then. In my defense, I didn't know he was the owner until one of his crews approached him and told him that the board members were already waiting for him. You could just imagine how embarrassed I was, considering that I asked him to take my picture not just once. But since everything had been said and done, what else could I do but smile my way out.

I'm currently finishing Gregory Maguire's Son of A Witch. It's by far the most thought - provoking book I've read. I hope its conclusion won't disappoint.
