Team Building in Thailand Day 5

My Thailand posts are almost done, hurrah! At last, I can move on to other things. Such as posting what I wore when I watched the second installment of Breaking Dawn! It has been two weeks since I watched it but until now I can't stop gushing about it. Paging Lina. Where are you, sister? Let's watch it again. Haha! I've some posts in my drafts that are waiting to be published. And as soon as the Thailand trip has been fully documented, I'll make the others known to the world. In the world called Gianelland. There goes my attempt at being witty. And failing miserably at it as well. Hahaha

For now, here are pictures taken at Terminal 21. If you're a tourist like good old me, I highly recommend this mall to you. In every floor of the mall, it's as if you're entering a new country. The mall layout and design are remarkable! I would've loved to share the photos of each floor here but I didn't have my camera with me so I had to make do with what others have captured.

I swear, this was purely coincidental! I noticed it when I was going through the pictures already. What's up with being matchy matchy.

Team Building in Thailand - Night Life 3

We went to Cabbages and Condoms with the rest of the class which meant that there were 60+ students walking around the condom-infested restaurant.

Team Building in Thailand Day 4

We went to Ayutthaya which was two hours away from Bangkok. The place provided the perfect background for pictures and the following photos will prove this. Of course, with that comes my overexposed face. Pagbigyan niyo na. Haha!

Our first stop in our Ayutthaya Tour was Bang-Pa In Royal Palace. It was a very hot afternoon. Some of our classmates opted to wear sleeveless and shorts. It was a pretty formal/conservative place so they were asked to borrow sarong from some counter/help desk. There was a poster above the help desk that read "Free clothes please pay 200 Baht." LOL! We didn't notice the small writing that states "for deposit" until we were supposed to go.

Going back to my story, so we walked in the Bang-Pa In Palace (aka the Summer Palace) as a big group and stopped at a lake-house like structure to take a group shot. Then, we were allowed to disperse. We went back to the entrance to get golf carts because we don't want to walk and we are cool just like that! *snaps finger* LOL. The place was huge. There were a lot of structures just built for the then Thai royalties' visitors. We stopped at a field where there were elephant-sculpted-plants to have our dose of vanity shots. We hoped back in our carts and went to a building with horse carriages. The building was air-conditioned! It is in times of desperation you get to appreciate air-conditioning. We did not really get to look at the exhibits carefully because we were focusing on cooling down. Our friends still went in a building where the thrones were. Kim and I were too lazy and hot to put on sarongs so we just opted to go back in the building with carriages. Well when you see one of these temples/palaces, you've seen them all! Before we went back to our bus, we had two scoops of ice cream each. Rainbow and Thai tea-flavored ice cream. YUM!

Next stop, Ayutthaya Historical Park!
- special thanks to Kim Sta. Rita for writing these things!
