A Queen with No Crown

From Saturday

From Saturday
School has just started last week and so far, I can say that I'm enjoying it. My first two days were very very good, if not for the sudden expulsion of drinks... The good mood went on until Saturday's lunch date with my family thus I wore red. As I've said in one of my posts, I wear red when I'm feeling so good or so down.

We had our lunch in Yakimix Macapagal. I feasted on Japanese food, a favorite of mine! I remember telling my mom before that I could live forever just eating different sushis and other Japanese food. Really really delicious.

The title's from Lady Gaga's Judas. It should have been 'King with No Crown'.

P.S. Thank you to my very wonderful friends for keeping me company here in blogger. I didn't know that it was possible to follow me using twitter accounts until I saw some additional 'Followers' on my Dashboard. It was so sweet! If you don't have a blogger account, you may use your twitter accounts to keep me company here. Also, thank you to my fellow bloggers (though I would prefer to call you guys friends) for the sweet comments and following me. I appreciate all the love so very much :)

Pay Off

Do you know why I was never a fan of domino, or why I never liked playing it? It's because I always feel uneasy whenever I think of its implication - the domino effect or simply the thought of seeing changes brought by something you have intentionally, or unintentionally, done. Thing is, most of the time, it's unintentional. Once you see each block falls one after another, you can't do anything to stop them from falling completely. All you'll be left with is the mess.

The consequences of my actions for the past year are catching up with me; in fact I wouldn't be so surprised if I'll find them ahead of me already. Everyone talked to me. Everyone told me what I must do, what I must not, and what I must think about. After giving each of their words consideration, I found a new reason to continue where I left off, the very same reason that I can hold onto just to secure the straps that can fasten my resolve to make all the wrong things right once again. I wish not to let go of this reason. But then something happened. No one has told me that there will be sacrifices. Worse, that I cannot choose which I’d like to stay and which, though not easy, I would have to let go. It pains me knowing that in order to erase the errors I have put myself into, I would have to sacrifice the persons who mean so much to me.

P.S.
P.S. I would like to apologize to Jerone Malangen for not having been able to attend your 18th birthday celebration. You know I would have left whatever that I had to do then just to be on your party. I’m really really sorry! Please naman, wag naman na magtampo :(

And to Jeanne dela Rosa, alam mo namang favorite person talaga kita eh. Wag ka na din magtampo please?

To our kind friends who, because of some sweet reasons have read this, please pass my messages to them.

The Great Tagaytay Adventure

It has pleats too
I needed to put on something that speaks both formal (I'm going to school) and summer appropriate (I'm going to Tagaytay). As I was looking for something that would fit in my description, I stumbled upon this tribal-looking dress. What can you say, hmm?

Today's itinerary:

1) Accompany Tintin to UST. This coming school year, she wouldn't anymore be joining the Green Archers. As for me, Lina, Deborah and Hannah, we chose to remain loyal to our Alma Mater.
2) Fetch Lina from school. When it comes to patience and respect to time, she and I share so much in common. Earlier this morning, she proved me just how right I am. She was late.
3) Head for Tagaytay.

During the entire trip, I was fighting my eyelids. I barely slept the previous night. I need caffeine!

Doesn't she look chic in her summer get up? Thumbs up, Lins!

Tintin with the cutest 'thing' ever (Deborah is so special to us that we treat her as the most lovable pet in the whole wide world - that's a compliment)

Japan, my prayers are with you.

Let me also share these random photos of the day. Don't ask me why I changed my heels into comfortable slippers.

Another Lazy Day

What's a girl got to do when she finds herself bored? Simple. Have a cup of coffee with friends. And that's just what I did today.

I never knew Lina and I could endure a day with Debo, until now. (Aren't we the sweetest, Debs? :>)

Kuya Gian celebrated his 20th birthday yesterday. We dined with the Peraltas in Zamboanga, a restaurant which embraces Filipino heritage. It's located in Malate, Manila. Every 8:30 PM, they entertain their diners with their cultural show.

After dinner...

What's a birthday celebration without few celebratory drinks, right?

Happy Mother's Day

Photobucket
Mommy might not have been able to arrive in time for Mom's Day, but I'm most definite that she would remember how we celebrated it after her return from her week-long stay in Seoul last monday morning.

Happy Mother's Day to your dearest moms, friends :)

Light as a Feather

Sky Blue has struck me as the color that speaks of something that's akin to be surreal. The element of dreams and the mysteries that come with it inspired me to wear sky blue in a birthday party that I attended. I was feeling lightheaded, this time fortunately not because of alcohol, and heavenly. Little by little, every crease on my cloth of a life is straightening up on its own. Sooner than I expected, I've started untangling myself from the twisted cords that I've brought upon myself.
